Canadian Fishing Day in Northern Ontario

There’s something that goes along with one of the most important days in Canada and that’s the day of FISHING!

I think there should an official “Canadian Fishing Day” myself. Don’t you? Think about it, one day where everyone in Canada decides to plan, pack up with their family and friends and get out and go fishing.

Canada has an abundance of natural resources that are full of pure physical attention, but none is more amazing than the possibility for grabbing a monster fish somewhere that only “YOU” know about. Anywhere in Canada can bring the same fishing adventure.

Here are…

The 7 Best Tips for a great Canadian Fishing Day experience:

19 Where are you going? My thoughts from here are simple. What are you fishing for? What type of fish can I catch and where do I want to go to catch them? Think about the weather!

19 Call around to resorts, hotels, motels, cabins and camping grounds for all their pricing, fish types and hotspot locations. Ask for their flyer or get their website address to check things out.

19 If you want to go fishing, take all theĀ  care to plan your trip ahead of time. Sometimes just going on a road trip is the best time!

19 Plan your accommodations, your leisure time and bring all the necessary fishing gear and supplies you ‘ll need to maximize the fun. Bring a tent just in case you want to stay somewhere and not pay for a hotel/motel or cabin.

19 Bring a canoe or kayak and take a ride down a small river with an amazing trout fishing experience! Some amazing bass fishing in the boat! Fly fish in some deep river pools for lunker steelhead trout!

19 If you have a boat and trailer, you’re pretty much capable of the greatest Canadian Fishing Day like no other. It’s all about having a boat! Planning this trip will ensure much better fishing.

19 When your out fishing, take the precaution of having some safety in mind. When your on the water, bring a life jacket please! Make sure you have a spare tire in the truck. Bring a first aid kit with you just in case and bring a backpack with all the clothes and essentials you need. Grab your tackle, make sure you’ve got bait and get ready for a Canada Fishing Day of fun!

Without a doubt, a “Canadian Fishing Day” certainly would qualify as a day off from work to me. I think that if enough people go fishing in this day we can get a day off work. I wonder when that special day called “Canadian Fishing Day” would be? Leave a comment and let me know.

If you want to comment, I wish you would so that I can get a sense of what you think!

Thanks
