When was the last time you had a reallyI don’t know about you but there certainly are days when you go fishing and it just doesn’t turn out being much fun! Let me tell you that there have been times with friends when we get out fishing here in Northern Ontario and the fishing just turns out to be awful. Anyone have just plain ol bad fishing days?

I will admit that there have been times when all we seem to do is just bring the bait, and fishing gear along for a ride in the truck. We certainly have good intention but it just ended up being a tour in the bush with nothing short of really bad fishing.

Here’s the quote that always comes to mind after having one of those “worst fishing days”

“A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.”

That quote is true I might add! It’s true, it just doesn’t matter even with all the planning in the world and all the fishing gear you bring along, sometimes it just doesn’t work out the way you hoped. No fish, bad weather, the bugs eat you alive and on and on and on. It also doesn’t really matter if you live in Northern Ontario or not either because having a bad fishing day happens all over the world.

Has anyone else had this problem? You plan, you spend the money, you fish hard, yet the results are terrible?

Hey, the perks with any outing is of course getting out with friends or family and having a good time isn’t it?
